Mrs. Euna Dean Logan Floyd, 74, of Rockholds, passed away Thursday morning, June 4, 2009 in the St. Joseph London Hospital. She was a daughter of the late Alvis K. and Zelma Bennett Logan born on January 14, 1935 in Knox County.
Mrs. Floyd was a homemaker and a member of the Flat Creek Baptist Church. She enjoyed cooking and gardening.
On May 24, 1952, she united in marriage with Jack L. Floyd in Knox County and to this union four children were born.
Survivors include her husband, Jack Floyd of Rockholds; her children, Gary Floyd and wife, Nadine, Kathy McKeehan and husband, Pat, and Maynard Floyd all of Rockholds and Lisa Sutton and husband, Fred, of Williamsburg; six grandchildren, Heather King and husband, Hampton Jr., Nicholas Floyd and wife, Jaime, Selina Dunaway and husband, Robert, Derrick McKeehan, Logan Sutton and Ethan Sutton; seven great grandchildren, Breanna and Haley King, Tyler and Isaac Floyd, Kiersten and Kylie Dunaway and Dalton McKeehan; and a host of family and friends.
Her funeral service will be conducted at the Flat Creek Baptist Church Sunday, June 7 at 3 P.M. with Rev. Jeremy Abner and Rev. Randall Roach officiating. She will be laid to rest in the Sharp-Floyd Cemetery at Rockholds.
Casket bearers will be Nicholas Floyd, Derrick McKeehan, Hampton King, Robert Dunaway, Raymond Hill, Charles Matlock, Robert Hill, John Ferguson, Josh Woods, Logan Sutton and Ethan Sutton.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Knox Funeral Home.
