Jami Margaret Petersen, 26, passed away Monday, June 15, 2009 at her home. She was born July 6, 1982 in Logan, UT to Russell William and Sharon Effie Laws Petersen.

She graduated from Bear River High School 2000 and attended Weber State and Utah State Universities. She worked as a Pharmacy Technician and was studying Bio-Medical Engineering.

Jami enjoyed working with stained glass, cross stitching, entertaining kids and was a very talented flute musician.
She was a member of the Tremonton Ninth LDS Ward and served as a Nursery and Primary Teacher.

Jami is survived by her parents, one sister, Julie Ann and one brother, Jeffrey Russell.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 20, 2009 11:00 a.m. at Tremonton South Stake Center, 1150 South Tremont St., Tremonton with Bishop C. Blake Christensen officiating. Family and friends may call Friday, June 19, 2009 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Rogers and Taylor Funeral Home, 111 North 100 East, Tremonton and Saturday from 9:15-10:40 a.m. at the church. Interment will be at the Elwood Town Cemetery.

The family wishes to express thanks to friends, neighbors, the medical and support staff that cared for Jami.
