Clyde Tally Brown went to be with the Lord on Friday, June 19, 2009 at Moses Cone Hospital Hospice Unit. Funeral service was held on Monday, June 22 at Lebanon Baptist Church with Rev. Richard Wright and Rev. Don Ledbetter officiating. Interment followed at Apple's Chapel Christian Church Cemetery.
He was born March 24,1923 in Guilford County, to the late Frank and Ollie Jones Brown. He retired from Lorillard Tobacco Company. He taught and attended Sunday School and was a faithful member of Lebanon Baptist Church.
He is survived by sisters, Ada Lee Pickrell and Pauline Cook; brothers, Bobby Brown, Harvey Brown(Doris), and Worth Brown (Thelma).
Mr. Brown was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers, Jack Irvin Brown and John Franklin Brown.
