She lived all her life in Rock Glen, Luzerne Co., Pa., until a few months before her death. She spent many summers as a girls camp volunteer, and loved to be with her favorite cousin Jean Houser.
She moved to Camden, New Jersey in the summer of 1954 to spend her remaining weeks with her mother and 1/2 siblings. She passed from this life of Leukemia, in the home of her mother, Kathryn Vanarda Miller Watkins. They transported her body by train back to Rock Glen, and buried at the Mountain Grove Cemetery, where she is is buried with her grandparents, Ellis and Eva Paten Miller.
My father said of her, She was the gentlest soul, taken much too soon, missed and loved by so many.
