Afalee, age 98, died at the Golden Years Care Services in Harrisonville. She was the daughter of William Wyly and Lucy B. (Nance) Babylon. She graduated from Pleasant Hill High School in 1929. She married Arlo Paul Murcok on May 30, 1936, in Harrisonville.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, her son, Billy Bob Murdock, and her sisters, Norene Babylon, Norma Nichols, and Ardith Snow.
Survivors include her daughter, Beverly Anderson, two grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and two step-great-grandchildren.
Services were held at the Dickey Funeral Home. Burial was in Orient Cemetery.
