Missouri death certificate # 37960 male, white, married. DOB Oct. 17, 1863, miner. Parents M J Hubble and Mary Masey he of TN. and she of MO. Mrs. Marshall Hubble Webb City informant. Shows interred in Carterville Cemetery November 15, 1916.
Problems with information on the memorial and death certificate. I was sent edit for the birth date, place. The date of death was the 13th. I did change that on the memorial. Have not changed the date of birth. I would think that his wife would know his actual birth date though and it has Oct. 17, 1863. The stone has 1862 but it is a late in the year birth date and it was not uncommon for rounding. Or the person gave the information for the stone was incorrect. Mother the Masey usually in this area spelling is Massey. The link for this mother is Mary Jane [Powell] Hubble. Either he married twice had more than one wife named Mary or someone got the maiden name wrong on the death certificate. Or the maiden name Powell is incorrect. This death certificate shows more troubles than helps. The edit did not give me his place of death I added that with the death certificate information.
