Mrs. Lou Cressie Anderson Turnmire Lee, age 92 of West Jefferson, North Carolina died Monday, Apr. 21, 2008 at Segraves Care Center. Mrs. Lee was born Sep. 6, 1915 in Grayson County, Virginia to the late David and America Stuart Anderson. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husbands: Charlie Turnmire and Elmer Lee, and daughter: Verna Mae Turnmire. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Thursday, Apr. 24, 2008 at Badger Funeral Home Chapel by Minister Douglas Frazier. Burial will follow in the Fairview - Carpenter Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 - 3:00 prior to the service. Mrs. Lee is survived by: Two sons: David Turnmire and wife Alice of Creston, North Carolina & Jack Anderson of Ray City, Georgia; One daughter: Anna Eldredge of North Wilkesboro, North Carolina; 11 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
