Mrs. Wanda Charlotte Hurley, 65 years of Anderson, Missouri departed this life on Friday, May 8, 2009 at the Freeman Hospital in Neosho, Missouri after a long illness.
Charlotte entered this life on November 10, 1943 in Anderson, Missouri born to the union of the late Carl and Rena (Ledford) Hurley. She was a lifelong resident of Anderson, Missouri and a 1961 graduate of Anderson High School. She married Bob Burleson in March of 1963 and to this union three daughters and one son were born. She enjoyed crocheting and spending countless hours with her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and a daughter, Ladonna Burleson.
Charlotte is survived by two daughters, Janell Burleson of Anderson, Missouri and Connie Cunningham and husband, Rex Jr., of Anderson, Missouri; a son, Earl Burleson of Grove, Oklahoma; her ex-husband, Bob Burleson of Grove, Oklahoma; two adopted sons, Bill Friend and Danny Duggar both of Anderson, Missouri; six grandchildren, Justin Cunningham of Lanagan, Missouri, Jason Harp and Missy Morrison of Miami, Oklahoma, Levi Burleson of Seneca, Missouri, Casey Michaelis and husband, Anthony, of Wheaton, Missouri, Brandie Washam and husband, Nathan, of Goodman, Missouri and Chelsey Burleson of Grove, Oklahoma; a great grandson, Mecci Harp; a great granddaughter, Charli Michaelis; two sisters, Sharon Davis of Anderson, Missouri and Shirley Allard of New London, Wisconsin; two brothers, Darrol Hurley and wife, Betty of Wyandotte, Oklahoma and Curtis Hurley and wife, Billie Ann, of Anderson, Missouri; several nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other family and friends.
Funeral services for Mrs. Hurley are 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 12, 2009 in the Anderson Chapel of the Ozark Funeral Homes with Darrol Hurley and Larry Convirse officiating. Burial will follow in the Cummings Cemetery near Tiff City, Missouri. Those honoring her life by serving as pallbearers are Bob Burleson, Bill Friend, Earl Burleson, Justin Cunningham, Levi Burleson, Jason Harp, Anthony Michaelis and Nathan Washam. Sharon Davis, Brandie Washam, Casey Michaelis, Chelsey Burleson, Debbie Sixkiller, Jack and Betty Shobe, Anna Lou Spears, Sheranda Davis, Caitlyn Davis and Shalaya Davis are serving as honorary pallbearers.
