Margaret E. Sallee, 93, of Springfield died Wednesday, Feb. 12, 2003, at St. John's Hospice.
She was born April 9, 1909, in Springfield, the daughter of Charles and Elizabeth Denham Stremsterfer. She married Floyd E. Sallee in 1949; he died in 1972.
Mrs. Sallee was a teacher at Bunn School, retiring in 1969 after 40 years. She was a member of Third Presbyterian Church, Illinois Retired Teachers Association and Alumnus of Blackburn College.
Survivors: a son, Floyd R. (wife, Sharon) Sallee of Cincinnati; three grandchildren; two brothers, Randolph Stremsterfer of Springfield and Charles Stremsterfer of St. Louis; a sister, Gloria Ruggles of Springfield; and several nieces and nephews.
Cremation rites have been accorded by Springfield Crematory. Memorial services: Third Presbyterian Church, Scott Brindley officiating.
