DEATH CLAIMS

William R. Sapp

William Reppard Sapp, 90, of Bristol, died Monday in the Pierce County Nursing Home after a long illness. The Ta.ttnall County native was a member of the Lake CHapel Primitive Baptist Church.

Mr. Sapp is survived by his wife, Mrs. Zettie Davis Sapp of Bristol; six daughters, Mrs. J.F. Starling, Mrs. R.E. Lanier, Mrs. M.L. Martin, Mrs. David Arbuckle, all of Jacksonville; Mrs. Donnie Todd of Bristol, and Mrs. James H. Harris of Jesup; six sons, Ernest Sapp, Russell Sapp, both of Jacksonville, Hazel Sapp of Glennville, Thad Sapp, Prentice Sapp, both of Savannah, and Otis Sapp of Brunswick; 26 grandchildrfen and 16 great grandchildren.

Funeral Services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, in the Lake CHapel Primitive Baptist Church with Elder William Durrance and Rev. Lester Dixon officiating.

Active pallbearers were grandsons.

Honorary pallbearers were Odell Thornton, Lowell Deal, Hazel Lee, J.A. Olliff, Hub Aspinwall, Ronald Eunice, Lorace Eunice, Albert Deal, Jack Deal, Alton Deal, Terra Deal, Remer Rogers, Cecil Carter, J.J. Griffin, A.M. Mikell, Darvin Deal, James C. Todd, Wayne Lee, Raleigh Deal, PerryDeal, Lester Blocker, Larry Brown, Filmore Griffis, R.N. Olliff, & Aubrey Olliff.

Burial was in the Lake Chapel Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of the NeSmithHarrison Funeral Home.
