He enlisted at Yellville, Arkansas, July 12, 1861; left sick in Arkansas, April 3, 1862; dropped from the rolls, June 30, 1862.
His tombstone shows 1836-1915. His death certificate shows he was born Apr 19, 1835 in Illinois but his parents didn't live there then. It also shows he died June 28, 1914, family records shows June 20, 1914 and tombstone shows 1915. He died of Brights Disease.
