A graveside service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Acacia Memorial Park for Laura Taylor Buchanan, 99, who died Saturday in a local hospital.
Mrs. Buchanan was a native of Illinois who had lived in Modesto since 1964. She had been a homemaker and a member of the Royal Neighbors of America.
She is survived by two children, Kenneth Peden of Stockton and Beatrice Potts of Woodland; one sister; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
