Adelaide Joan Snapp
April 22, 1919 - June 22, 2009

SALEM - Adelaide was born in 1919 to John and Angeline Rachfal in Detroit, Michigan. She attended St. Stevens and Chadsey High School in Detroit. She met and married the "love of her life" Charles E. Snapp in 1944. He preceded her in death in 1997. She lived in Burbank and Clovis, Calif. before moving to Oregon in 1990. She is survived by two sons, David who lives in Salem, and Duane (Debbie) of Santa Rosa, Calif.; also granddaughter, Melissa; and grandson, Ryan both of Santa Rosa; a sister, Helen; and a brother, Joe both of Detroit. Her hobbies were walking and watching situation comedies on television. Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. on Saturday, June 27 at Restlawn Funeral Home in Salem. Interment will be at Willamette National Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Red Cross in her memory.
