Mr. Arndt was born May 25, 1904 at Hilbert, WI, to the late Mr. and Mrs. Otto Arndt. He attended high school in Kiel, WI.
On June 18, 1927, he married Miss Anita Reichert of New Holstein at St. John’s Reformed church in New Holstein. Mr. and Mrs. Arndt made their home in Sheboygan. Mrs. Arndt died December 24, 1972. Mr. Arndt was employed at the Kohler Company for 44 years and retired in 1972.
On April 3, 1975, he married Mrs. Hildegard (Papenfuss) Neese, of Sheboygan. They moved to Cedar Lake Home Campus in 1981. Lewis was a member of the Kohler Quarter Century Club and served as a scoutmaster for Troop No. 28 at St Paul U.CC.
Survivors are his wife, Hildegard; one son, James L. (Sharon) Arndt of Plymouth, WI; four grandchildren and one great granddaughter; one step-son, John (Kiyoko) Neese of Seattle, WA; one step-daughter, Janet Neese of Geneso, NY.
Preceding him in death were one daughter, Jean; one brother and one sister.
