THOMAS WALKER MERRIMAN

THOMAS WALKER MERRIMAN was born at Apple Creek, Wayne county, Ohio on October 12, 1857 and passed away on August 11, 1926 at 1 p.m. at his home near Cheney.
On August 18 1883, he married MINNIE BELLE ARMSTRONG. To this union ten children were born, four of whom survive.
He moved to Lind, Wn., on June 8, 1887, where he resided until June 1905, when he moved to Cheney.
He and his wife united with the Christian church at Lind in December 1896.
He leaves his widow, two sons, CLARKE and DEAN; two daughters, GRACE and Mrs. LAURA GRAHAM; four grandchildren, MAXINE, NORMAN and MARGARET GRAHAM and BAYARD MERRIMAN, all of Cheney; two brothers, R. G. at Wooster, Ohio and H. E. at Kelso, Wn; one sister Mrs. E. S. DOYLE at San Francisco, Calif; a niece Mrs. Lela SWARTS of Lind, Wn.; a nephew, HORACE MERRIMAN, Cheney.
Services were conducted at the home and nieces and nephews in the east on August 13, REV. O. A. ADAMS officiating.
Besides the immediate family, H. E. MERRIMAN, Mrs. SWARTS and a cousin, Mrs. SICKAFOOSE were in attendance at the services. Interment at Ritzville cemetery
