Lee was the son of Albert E. and Georgia Ann (Crittenden) Epps. He served his country in the United State Air Force from 1957 to 1963. Lee married Evelyn Deagan in June of 1963 in England.
Lee was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Alber D. Epps and one nephew Joseph Epps.
He is survived by his daughter Shayna and Dave Thompson; grandsons Nicholas Ryan Thompson, Joshua Heath Thompson, and Patrick Jarred Thompson; two sisters Karen and Mike Plant and Joyce and Carl Epperson; uncle Andrew Crittenden; uncle Dee and Betty Crittenden; aunt Bea and Bob Jasman; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
