Dennis Wayne Holub, 41, of Lorena died Sunday, April 29, 2001 at his residence. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 2, 2001 at St. Louis Catholic Church with Rev. Melvin Dornak as celebrant. Rosary will be recited at 6 p.m. Tuesday, May 1, at Wilkerson-Hatch Funeral Chapel. Visitation will be from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Holub was born May 18, 1959, in Waco, to Johnnie and Arlene Filer Holub. He was a 1977 graduate of Reicher High School and McLennan Community College. He was employed with the Dr. Pepper Bottling Company for 14 years. He was a member of SPJST and of St. Louis Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by his father, Johnnie Holub and nephew, Stephen Holub.

Survivors include his wife, Janine Holub of Lorena; mother, Arlene Holub of Waco; daughter Kristin R. Holub of Robinson; stepdaughters, Darla J. Truax and Kaitlynn E. Truax, both of Lorena; son, Dustin E. Holub of Robinson; sisters Beverly Dobiyanski and husband Jerry of Thornton and Eileen M. Kubala; brother Larry J. Holub & wife Gayle of Waco; five nieces and nephews, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Pallbearers will be Larry Holub, Charles Kubala, Jerry Dobiyanski, Bruce Howard, John Voss and Ben Burch.
