OBITUARY - Plain Dealer, Wabash (IN) - Thursday, August 5, 1920
Lenora (Stech) Chamness died Wednesday evening at 9:40 o'clock at her home in south Wabash, following an illness of some time from a complication of diseases.

The deceased was born in Grant County, spending her life in that county until shortly after her marriage to John Chamness. They lived for 14 years near LaFontaine and have resided in Wabash for the past four years. Mr. Chamness was chief of the Wabash police force for a few months.

The husband and four children survive. They are: Elmo G., David O., and Thelma M., at home, and Wilbur T., in the navy, the mother Mrs. Luretta Creviston of Wabash, and a brother Clarence Creviston of New Bremen, Ohio. One daughter, Mrs Wilbur Woodward, died November 18, 1919.

Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the First Methodist Church. Rev. E. E. Tripper will have charge. Burial in Falls Cemetery.
