She was born on July 1, 1976 in Rensselaer, Indiana, the daughter of Kevin and Susan Howard.
Tanya grew up in Mitchellville and was a graduate of SE Polk High School
lived in Des Moines for the last 10 years.
On March 7, 1996, she was united in marriage to Anthony Abuhl of Des Moines and they were blessed with two daughters.
Tanya loved her family and enjoyed lilacs, listening to music and her kitties.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, June 29, 2009 at Iles Funeral Homes – Grandview Park Chapel. Private burial will be at Laurel Hill Cemetery.
