Alvin Morse, 76, Lifelong Gobles Resident, Dies

Gobles, April 17th- Alvin Morse, 76, a lifelong resident of Pine Grove Township died at Borgess hospital in Kalamazoo Saturday night.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30p on Tuesday at the Methodist church in Gobles. Burial will be in the Robinson cemetery.

Mr. Morse was born in Pine Grove township on January 20th, 1863. He leaves three daughters and two sons- Mrs. Blanche Poth and Lloyd Morse of Kalamazoo; Mrs. Cornella Owens of Battle Creek; Floyd Morse of Tomahawk, Wisconsin; and McKinley Morse whose address is unknown.

He also leaves two sisters, Mrs. Martha Camfield and Mrs. Anna Sevey of Gobles. 24 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

The body was taken to the Wickett & Peck funeral home in Bloomingdale to await burial.
