Sally L. Brenneman, 77, of Helen St., Shamokin Dam, Pa., passed away at 9:50 a.m. Wednesday, November 19, 2008, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
She was born July 7, 1931 in Warren, a daughter of the late Edwin L. and Carrie Edith (Rea) Brenneman.
Sally was a 1949 graduate of Youngsville High School. She retired from Spectors Clothing in Albany, N.Y., where she was a bookkeeper.
Sally loved to read and do crossword puzzles, but the joys of her life were her grandchildren.
She is survived by two daughters, Debra L. StarrBranfield and husband, David, of Fort Wayne, Ind., and Patricia S. StarrGilbert and husband, Michael, of Selinsgrove; one son, William R. Starr, of Scotia, N.Y.; five grandchildren, Carrie Gilbert, Joshua Branfield, Timothy Gilbert, Nicholas Branfield and Jennifer Starr; and one brother, Jack T. Brenneman, of Radcliff, Ky.
She was preceded in death by six siblings.
