Visitation is Friday, Sept. 8, 2006 from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm and Saturday, Sept. 9, 2006 from 9:00 to 11:00 am at Chapel of Hope Funeral Home.

Dr. Bruner, 87, passed away Tuesday, September 5, 2006 at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock, Texas. He was born in Sylvia, Kansas in 1918. He was a physician who practiced medicine in Eunice and Hobbs from 1944 to 1992.
Dr. Bruner is survived by his wife Mary of 61 years and their six children: Karen Richardson and husband Mike of Boyd, Texas; Rita Bratton and husband Don of Hobbs, NM; Dr. William D. Bruner of Huron, Ohio; Mike Bruner and wife Jana of Lodi, California; John Bruner and wife Dorothy of Sandusky, Ohio and Dr. Paul Bruner and wife Robin of Sandusky, Ohio. Dr. Bruner had 15 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
Dr. Bruner was a loving husband, father and grandfather and will be truly missed by those whose lives he touched.
