Mass of Christian Burial will be on Wednesday, July 14th at 11:00 AM at St. Anthony¹s Catholic church in St. Cloud for Vernon A. Luebesmier, age 66, of 436-31st No. St. Cloud, who died on Sunday at the St. Cloud Hospital. Rev. LeRoy Schik will officiate. Burial will be in Assumption cemetery. Friends may call on Tuesday between 4:00-9:00 PM and on Wednesday Morning after 8:30 AM at the Daniel Funeral Home in St. Cloud. Eagles Aerie # 622 will pray at 6:30 PM followed by the Parish Prayers at 7:00 PM.
Vernon was born February 8th, 1938 in St. Cloud to Edward and Alvina (Buersken) Luebesmier. He married Mary Lou Harren on July 16th, 1957 at St. Wendelin¹s Catholic Church in Luxem-burg. He worked as an electrician for 45 years and loved to travel with his wife Mary Lou, family and friends. He was a member of St. Anthony¹s Catholic Church and Eagles Aerie # 622.
Survivors: his wife Mary Lou, children; Kevin Luebesmier, St. Cloud, Lori Regan (Pat), St. Cloud, Pam Schwartz, St. Cloud, Sandy Gruber (Tom), St. Cloud, Sherry Gruber (Dino), St. Cloud, Tom Luebesmier, Buffalo, grandchildren; Andrea, Rachel, Dan, Michelle, Andy, Tonya, Jeff, Nick, Kim, Emily, Dylan, and Ryan, great-granddaughter Mackenzie, mother; Alvina Luebesmier, St. Cloud, brothers; Ervin Luebesmier, St. Paul, Donald Luebesmier, Zimmerman, Melvin Luebesmier, St. Cloud, Edward Luebesmier Jr., St. Cloud, Jim Luebesmier, California
He was preceded in death by his father Edward Luebesmier Sr., grandchildren Brandon and Brian Luebesmier, and one brother Frank Luebesmier.
