Marguerite's mother Margaret died soon after giving birth to her & she was eventually sent to live with her Aunt Abigail & family in Charlestown, MA. She appears on the 1920, 1930 & 1940 Massachusetts Census living with her Carney relatives.
Marguerite joined the US Navy sometime around 1940. She rose to the rank of SPQ3 (Specialist Communications Petty Officer 3rd Class).
Marguerite passed away at age 91.
She is buried with her husband, James Mulhern.
