Married Sep. 17, 1856, to Annie H. Phillips of Lynn, Mass. Children: Katherine Phillips Clarke, b. Aug. 4, 1857, Percy Edwards Clarke, b. Nov. 9, 1859, d. Sep. 10, 1896, a graduate of Cornell University Law School, and Phillips Huntington Clarke, b. Dec. 22, 1865.
