Burial is to follow in Smyrna Church cemetery with Elliott Funeral Home directing.
Mr. Hale died unexpectedly Tuesday at 3 p.m. at his residence.
He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Carrie Hale; six daughters, Mrs. Harvey Terry, Kalamazoo, Mich; Mrs. Robert Grimes, Waukegan, Ill; Mrs. Naymon Terry, Moulton 4; Mrs. Ray Lindsey, Birmingham; Mrs. Earl Whisenant, Chicago; two sons, Harold Hale, of Courtland 1, and Lyndon Hale of Chicago; one brother, John Hale, Moulton 4; 19 grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.
Mr. Hale was a native of Winston County.
The body was to be returned to the residence this afternoon at 2 o’clock and remain there until time for services.
