Burial will be in Smyrna Cemetery. Visitation will be today from noon until 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Hale, who died Friday, May 11, 2007, was born Aug. 23, 1930, in Lawrence County to James Curtis Corum and Myrtle Stewart Corum. She was a member of Flint Church of Christ. She retired from Sonoco.
Survivors include one son, Roger Wayne Hale of Decatur; two daughters, Brenda Corley of Fort Payne and Amy Mahaffey of Chattanooga, Tenn.; one brother, Jack Corum of Decatur; one sister, Margarett Bowen of Decatur; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be friends and family.
