Mr. Anton Berger, age 80, of Tours passed away Monday, Sept. 4 at 9:20 a.m. in the West Community Hospital.
Rosary was recited at 8 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 5 at Kotch Funeral Home in West.
Requiem mass was celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 6, in St. Martin's Catholic Church in Tours with Rev. Frank Miller as celebrant. Burial followed in St. Martin's Cemetery in Tours.
Mr. Berger was born in Tours and lived in the Tours area all of his life. He was a retired farmer and a member of St. Martin's Society.
Survivors include his wife, Rosa; one son, Wilfred Berger of Tours; two daughters, Mrs. Joseph (Stella) Pavlicek and Mrs. John (Doris) Foyt, both of Rt. 2, West. Also six grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Gary Berger, Gregory Pavlicek, Andrew Berger, Edward Deitermann, Matt Filer and Jackie Willenborg.
