Versa V. Smith
Mrs. Versa V. SMITH, 91, formerly of Rochester and Athens, died at 3:55 p.m. Thursday at the Forest Park Health Care Center, Kokomo. She was born Sept. 14, 1887 at Bruce Lake to Jerome and Emaline KISSINGER OVERMYER and lived most of her life in Fulton county. Her first marriage was to Vernon R. MILLER in 1906; he died in 1942. Her second marriage was to Glen SMITH in 1960; he died in 1963.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Maurice (Irene) SAYGER, Akron, and Mrs. Maynard (Irma) ZOLMAN, Simi Valley, Cal.; seven grandchildren, and sixteen great-grandchildren. A daughter, a grandson and two sons preceded in death.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Zimmerman Brothers funeral home with the Rev. Morris HOWELL officiating. Burial will be in the Rochester I.O.O.F. cemetery. Friends may call from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday and until the hour of service Sunday.
