Billy R. Kirby
Billy Rhea Kirby, 73, of Bowling Green died at 7:30pm July 1, 2009, at the Hospice Center.
The Warren County native was the owner of Kirby's Barber Shop and was a barber for more than 50 years. He attended Bowling Green, Christian Church, was a Navy veteran, a member of the American Legion Post No. 23 and VFW and a volunteer driver who drove veterans to the V.A. Hospital in Nashville. He was an honorary member of Kappa Alpha Order at Western Kentucky University and supported Bowling Green-Warren County Animal Adoption Center. He was a member of Bowling Green Masonic Lodge No. 73 F&A.M. He was a son of the late Eldon Robert Kirby Sr. and Mattie Will Norris Kirby.
