Matilda I. Allen
Matilda Allen, 2201 Orodell Blvd., died Tuesday, Nov. 10 at Valley View Manor. She was 82. She was born June 6, 1899 in Chicago and moved to La Grande in 1914. She was preceded in death by her husbands James R. Knight and Robert Allen. Survivors include her sons. Dewey Knight, Leonard Knight, Clifford Knight, Albert Knight, Richard Knight; a daughter, Loretta Wilson: 20 Grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Lois Knight. Services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Daniels Funeral Chapel, with concluding services to follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.
