Mr. Bobby Lee Bishop, 63, of Chislehurst Road died May 10, 1991 at VA Medical Center in Salisbury. Funeral is 3 p.m. today at First Baptist Church, with burial in Eastside Cemetery, both in Rockingham. Marks Funeral Home of Rockingham is in charge.
Mr. Bishop, a Erlanger native, was a retired Mecklenburg County deputy sheriff. He also worked for the N.C. Highway Patrol for 15 years and was a World War II veteran. He was a 32nd Degree Mason.
Survivors are his parents, Lewis and Eva Bishop of Rockingham; sons, Roy Bishop of Peachland, John Bishop; daughter, Mrs. Debra Wilds; 12 grandchildren.
