OCALA -- Eugene Houston Akins , 68, retired utility serviceman for the New York Port Authority, died June 5, 1992, at Oakhurst Manor Nursing Home.
A native of Huntington, W.Va., Mr. Akins came here in 1987 from New York City.
Mr. Akins was Baptist; a member of the Tyrian Lodge No. 111 F&AM of Warner-Robbins, Ga.; and a U.S. Navy World War II veteran.
Hiers Funeral Home, Ocala, is handling arrangements.
