On Saturday evening, the widow Kathrine Lemm departed this life after a lengthy illness at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Joseph Schenk, of Milwaukee, where she had been pleasantly residing since last May.
The departed was born Oct. 1856, and spent the largest part of her life in Luxemburg (St. Wendel). Her husband, Joseph Lemm preceeded her to eternity by several years. Mourning their good mothers passing, along with the above mentioned daughter, were the following children: Mrs. Herman Buerskin, Mrs. Joseph Loehrer, Mrs. Anton Loehrer, Mrs. Frank May from Caynne, Mrs. Joseph Scholen, From St. Cloud, Henry Lemm from Minneapolis, Peter Lemm from Indiana, Joseph Lemm from Florida. Conrad Lemm from Luxemburg. Ben, Joseph, Heinrich, and Wilhelm Lemm all with homes in the west. The body was brought from Milwaukee on Tuesday, and bier taken to the home of Konrad Lemm. At ten o'clock on Wed. morning the requiem was said at the parish church and the burial was attended by a large number of relatives and acquaintances in the parish cemetery, where, may she rest in peace.
