Esther Marie Lemm, 76, Clarkston Homemaker
Esther Marie Lemm, 76, a Clarkston homemaker, died of a heart condition Wednesday at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center at Lewiston. She had been ill for two weeks. She was born Aug. 21, 1913 in Lewiston to William M. and Rebecca Ann Moyer Donnally. She went to school in Lewiston. On May 17, 1934 she married Dominic Lemm at Lewiston. He survives her at their Clarkston home. Mrs. Lemm had lived in the Lewis-Clarkston Valley all her life. She was a Communicant of Holy Family Catholic Church at Clarkston and was a member of the St. Catherine Guild. She enjoyed crocheting, fishing and boating.
In addition to her husband, survivors include two daughters, Marlene O'Shaughnessy of Missoula, Mont. And Joan Nowoj of Couer d'Alene; two sons, Phillip Lemm of Clarkston and John Lemm of Lewiston; a brother, Lloyd Donnally of Crooked River, Ore.; two sisters, Della Kemp of Grangeville and Hazel Golden of Everett, Wash.; 19 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. Three brothers, one grandchild and one great-grandchild died previously. Rosary will be recited at 7pm Friday at Holy Family Catholic Church at Clarkston and Mass will be celebrated there at 10am Saturday with the Rev. John Donnelly as celebrant. Burial will follow at Lewis-Clark Memorial Gardens at Lewiston. Merchant Funeral Home at Clarkston is in charge of the arrangements.
