MOULTON -- Funeral for Gladys L. Way Archer, 69, of Danville will be Monday at 2 p.m. at Enon Baptist Church with the Rev. C.G. Reding officiating.
Burial will be in Enon Cemetery with Parkway Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends tonight from 6 to 9 at the funeral home. The body also will be in the church one hour before the service.
Mrs. Archer died Saturday, Oct. 23, 1999, at Decatur General Hospital. She was born May 27, 1930, in Lawrence County, to Harry and Minnie Way.
She was a member of Enon Baptist Church and retired from Prestolite where she worked on the assembly line.
She is survived by her husband, Alton E. Archer; two stepsons, Eugene Archer of Lynnville, Tenn., and Neal Archer of Moulton; two stepdaughters, Libby Thomason of Lynnville and Shelia Johnson of Danville; five brothers, Willard Way, Alton Way and Reuel Way, all of Trinity, and Howell Way and Donald Way, both of Danville; one sister, Annie Kirby of Elberton, Ga.; 11 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Mike Thomason, Jeff Thomason, Scott Thomason, Laymon Way, Brian Way, Kenny Way, Terrell Way and Todd Kirby.
