Erma C. Hensarling, 88, of 900 E. 30th St. in Bryan died in a local hospital Thursday.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today in Hillier Funeral Home with the Rev. Dennis Henderson officiating. Burial will be in Bryan City Cemetery.
Mrs. Hensarling, a native of Brazos County, was the first female licensed Realtor in Brazos County and was a practicing Realtor from 1947 to 1975. She was co-owner of the first Piggly Wiggly store in Bryan.
Survivors include a son, Jesse Hensarling of Jansen, Neb.; two daughters, Olive Ruth Nabors of Bryan, Jessie Myrtle Cole of Abilene; a sister, Mildred Cloud of Bryan; eight grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Elizabeth Hensarling of Jansen is her daughter-in-law; Cecil Nabors of Bryan and Jerry Cole of Abilene are her sons-in-law; Mrs. J. A. Moody of Navasota and Mrs. Evander Hensarling of Bryan are her sisters-in-law. Her husband, Jess Hensarling, preceded her in death in 1932.
