HEPHZIBAH -- Mr. J. B. Battle Jr., 64, died Saturday, Nov. 13, 1999, at St. Joseph Hospital.
The funeral will be at 3:30 p.m. Monday at DeLoach Funeral Home with the Revs. Kirk Sims, Tom Conway and Charlie Ramsey officiating.
Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park, Augusta.
Mr. Battle, a native of Houston County, had retired from the civil service and was a Navy veteran.
He was a member of Berlin United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Terry Jean Battle; a son, Roderick Walter Battle, Hephzibah; two daughters, Regina B. Mundi, Baltimore, and Reneta B. Sikes, Augusta; two stepsons, Morris Ransom Brooks, Pembroke, N.C., and Jonathan Peter Brooks, Fort Bragg, N.C.; two stepdaughters, Suzanne Alleen Jacobs, Maxton, N.C., and Marlysa Marie Brooks, Atlanta; three sisters, Imogene Fordham, Rebie, Margaret Frazier, Warner Robins, and Shirley Faircloth, North Augusta; and 17 grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Harjinder S. Mundi, Morris Brooks, David Faircloth, Ray J. Sikes, Jonathan Brooks and Jackie Fordham.
Memorials may be made to Berlin United Methodist Church Benevolence Fund, 1518 Hephzibah-McBean Road, Hephzibah, GA.
