Vermillion – Mary LaVerne O'Connor of Kimberly, Idaho, formerly of Vermillion, died Thursday in Mountain View Care Center, Kimberly. She was 93. Mary LaVerne Chaussee was born June 29, 1890, in Fairview Township, Clay County, S.D. She married James Walter O'Connor April 9, 1913, in Clay County. She lived in Vermillion until May 1967. Her husband preceded her in death. She was a member of the Catholic church and the American Legion Auxillary. Mrs. O'Connor is survived by three grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Funeral Mass will begin at 10 a.m. Wednesday in St. Agnes Catholic Church, Vermillion, with burial in Calvary Cemetery, Vermillion. A rosary will be said at 9 p.m. Wednesday in the church. The Iverson Funeral Home, Vermillion, is in charge of arrangements.
