He is survived by his wife, Jewell Salyer Cooper,a step-daughter, Mrs Charles Ward of Ashland,two step-grandsons and a sister,Mrs Victoria Mackledowney of Charleston, W.Va. His first wife, Garnett Auxier Cooper, preceded him indeath in September 1971. Revs. Ellis Hamilton and Terry Jones officiated atservices Friday, April 4 in the chapel of thePaintsville Funeral Home . Burial was in the Wells-Buckingham Cemetery atPaintsville.
