Ms. Shelley was born Aug. 18, 1935, in Conway. She was a member of Juniper Bay Baptist Church and resided in the Juniper Bay Area with relatives. Ms. Shelley was a very special person who blessed her family and everyone who knew her. She will be dearly missed.
Surviving her are two brothers, Paul Wendell Shelley and wife, Mary , of Charleston, and Toby Shelley and wife, Linda, of Charleston; two sisters, Katie Cash and husband, Sammy, of Columbia, and Peggy Jane Kost and husband, Dale, of Charleston; her caretakers, niece, Sylvia Todd and husband, Ray, of Conway; nieces, nephews and her church family.
She is predeceased by her parents and other siblings.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Thursday, April 27, 2006, at Juniper Bay Baptist Church with the Rev. Rodney Hoard and the Rev. Mack Hudson officiating. Burial will follow in Juniper Bay Baptist Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m., Wednesday evening April 26, 2006, at Palmetto Funeral Home.
