Services for Mrs. Adell Walton, 75, who died Feb. 28th at the hospital in Hayti, were held March 2nd at the H.S. Smith Funeral Home in Caruthersville with the Rev. Bill Luttrell officiating. Burial was in Maple Cemetery.
She was born June 19th, 1903 in Braggadocio, the daughter of the late James and Fannie Albright. She attended Braggadoco schools.
On Jan. 14th, 1921 in Dyersburg, Tenn., she married John Calvin Walton. He preceded her in death on Aug. 30th, 1954.
She was a member of the Free Pentecostal Church.
Survivors include one brother, Ralph Albright of Festus; five nephews, James Tilman of Braggadocio, Haymes Don Tilman of Hockessin, Del., and Monty, Bill, and Jim Albright, all of Festus; six grand nephews and seven grand nieces.
Pallbearers were Monty Albright, Bill Albright, Jim Albright, James Tilman, Don Tilman and Don Stowe.
