Aaron Hardin Teel the last member of the family of Alexander and Emmeline Hardin Teel, was born on the old Hardin homestead near the Fairview church, Oct. 12, 1873.
At an early age his father moved the family to a farm south of McFall, where his boyhood days were spent attending the country school.
On Feb. 16, 1898 he was married to Miss Jennie Deering. They established their home in this same neigborhood. They attended Mt. Tabor Methodist church. During a revival held by Rev. Bowen he was converted and joined the church there. When that church was dissolved he moved his church membership to the McFall Metodist church.
When he and his wife retired from farming they moved into McFall. Here they celebrated their 56th wedding anniversary last Feb. 16.
To this couple were born eight children, two passed away in infancy, Elbert M. gave his life for his country in 1942, Emil, Seattle, Wash., Miss Cleo June Teel and Mrs. Mildred Ivey, of Los Angeles, Calif., Loren Teel, Chillicothe, Mo., and Ruby Teel of McFall, who with their mother eight grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and a host of other relatives, neighbors and friends are left to mourn his passing from this earthly life, which occurred at his home the morning of Oct. 30, 1954, at the age of 81 years and 18 days.
Funeral services were held from the McFall Methodist church Monday afternoon, Nov. 1, 1954, Rev. Elmer Evans officiating with burial at the McFall cemetery. The Quest Funeral Home was in charge of the services.
