DEATH OF MR. SAM BLACKWOOD

The Plaindealer regrets to chronicle the death of Mr. Sam Blackwood, aged 39, which sad event occurred at his home at Fentress last Sunday night, September 7th, 1930, after an illness lasting through several months' duration. He was a World War Veteran, having been stationed at Camp Pike for two years during that conflict. He was well and widely connected, member of the Methodist Church and a splendid citizen and had a host of friends who will regret his passing.

He is survived by his widow and six-year-old son; three sisters, Mrs. Lester Landrum, of Ackerman; Mrs. Sam

AIbritton of Winona, and Mrs. Pink McKnight, Fentress; and four brothers, Messrs. Anderson and Henry, of Fenrtess, Edgar, of French Camp, and John, of Crowder, Miss.

Funeral services took place at the Methodist Church at Ackerman, Monday afternoon at 3:00 o'clock, services being in charge of Rev. A. R. Beasley, with interment in Enon Cemetery. We extend to the sorrowing ones our deepest sympathy in the passing of their loved one.
