OBITUARY

Ronald Eugene Scott of Potosi, Missouri, was born on Wednesday, September 13, 1950 in Potosi, Missouri and departed this life on Monday, September 11, 2006 at the St.Louis University Hospital in St. Louis Missouri having reached the age of fifty-five years, eleven months and twenty-nine days.

Ron was united in marriage to the former, Patsy R. Wright on November 3, 2000 in Potosi, Missouri.

Ron is survived by his loving wife, Patsy R. Scott of Potosi, Missouri; parents, Esther Marie (Dicus) Scott and Ralph R. Scott of Mineral Point, Missouri, son Ronald Scott, Jr. of Florida, stepdaughter, Joni Jacobsen and husband Michael of Mineral Point, Missouri, two brothers, Warren D. Scott and wife Florence of Mineral Point, Missouri, Donald L. Scott of Mineral Point, Missouri; sister Sylvia J. Miller of Mineral Point, Missouri; and three grandchildren, Sarh Jacobsen, Luke Jacobsen and Noah Jacobsen all of Mineral Point, also surviving are aunts, uncles, nieces, newphews, other relatives and friends.

Ron attended the Potosi Community Church of Potosi, Missouri, in which he took great joy. He enjoyed coaching the little league baseball team the Yellow Jackets, and watching basketball games. Ron enjoyed the many gift of Mother Nature by spending time hunting, fishing, riding his four-wheeler and working in his garden. Antoher favorite pastime for Ron was participating in shooting matches. He was proud of his service to our great country by serving in the United States Army. Ron was a very caring, loving compassionate person who will be very deeply missed by the many lives he has touched.

Visitation was held Tuesday, September 12, 2006 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. nd Wednesday, September 13, 2006 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Moore Funeral Home, 105 Clark Street, Potosi, Missouri.

A Funeral service was held Wedneday, September 13, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at the Moore memorial Chapel, Potosi, Missouri with Pastor Bill Brammer officiating. Honroing Ron as pallbearers were: Warren Scott, Donald Scott, Chris Harbison, Mike Jacobsen, Brad Wright, Bb Knapp, Denny Goodson and Billy Joe Wright.

Final prayers and burial tok place in the Redbud Memorial Garden, Potosi, Missouri. Services were Entrusted to the care and direction of the Moore Funeral Home, 105 Clark Street, Potosi, Missouri.
