LACONIA -- Geraldine E. Morrison, 91, formerly of 13 Matthews Court, died Oct. 8, 1993, at St. Francis Home. Born in St. Thomas Montmagny, Quebec, she was the daughter of Paul and Arthemise (Chritien) Dionne. She had lived in Laconia most of her life. Mrs. Morrison had been employed for many years at Rosen's clothing store in Laconia in the alterations department and also served as a store clerk, retiring in 1963. She was a communicant of St. Joseph Church. she was a member and past president of the St. Joseph Ladies Guild. She was also a member and past grand regent of the Catholic Daughters of the Americas, Court Our Lady of the Lakes, No. 1110. She was also a member of the Laconia Senior Citizens. Survivors include her husband of 68 years, Roger E. Morrison of Bishop Bradley Apartments in Laconia; a daughter, Bernice Sprague of Pontiac, Mich., 12 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; one sister, Hazel Gebhard of Laconia; nieces, nephews and cousins. A second daughter, Marion Foster, died in 1980.
Calling hour will be Monday from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. at the A.W. Simoneau & Son Memorial Home, using the church Street entrance. A mass of Christian burial will follow at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph Church, with Rev. William Quirk, pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in St. Lambert Cemetery. Contributions may be made to the Activities Fund at St. Francis Home, 406 Court St., Laconia, N.H., 03246.
