Scott was a childhood friend and very well liked by everyone in the neighborhood...everyone loved being around Scott! All of us kids would spend summers at the playground programs at the Moody School, in Haverhill, MA. Scott was a city champion "Carom" player. Carom's was a game similar to pool and there would be tournaments throughout the city at the various playgrounds. Scott was practically unbeatable when it came to the game!

He was just 15 years old when he passed away. He was climbing a tree in front of his house and accidentally grabbed ahold of an electrical wire hidden in the branches and he was electrocuted.

I had often thought about Scott as I grew up and while walking in the Greeenwood Cemetery one day, I stumbled (literally) over his grave. I was so happy to finally know where he was buried...just down the street from my home. I've since been in touch with Scott's family who are wonderful people. They still love and miss Scott so much and visit him at the cemetery all the time, tending to his grave as well as those of other family members.
