HONEYVILLE- died Saturday, July 28, 2001, at the home of her daughter with whom she had lived for the past three years.

Daisy was born on the eighth day of the eighth month in 1918. She was the eighth child, also the eighth daughter born to Hans Peter and Mary Petersen Andersen of Thatcher, UT.

She married John Rasicot Groberg on Dec. 30, 1942 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. They had eight children. He died Feb. 22, 1993.

Daisy and John lived their early married life in Farr West, UT moving to Farmington Utah in 1955. In 1971 they moved to Bountiful, UT and in 1979 settled in Brigham City, UT.

She had been active in the LDS church all her life and served faithfully in the Relief Society and Primary. She and her husband had been temple workers in the Ogden Temple. They served a mission to Columbus Ohio in 1987-88. She also did extraction work.

She is survived by her daughter Vontella (Ron) Miller of Honeyville, and six sons, Curtis (Leslie), Woods Cross, Lowell (Nancy), Sandy, Dayle (Frances), Glen, Reid, Bountiful; John A. (Shauna) Magna,

22 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by three sisters, Edith Holdaway, Arthila Marble, Deweyville and Donna Glenn, Nyssa Ore.

She was preceded in death by her husband, a son Enoch, and five sisters.

Alzheimers stole her mind, then her body, but her spirit lives on.

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday Aug 1, 2001 at 11 a.m. at the Honeyville LDS Chapel, 2620 W. 6980 N. A viewing will be held prior to the service from 10 to 10:45 a.m., Bishop Ron Francom of the Honeyville 2nd Ward conducting. Burial at the Thatcher/Penrose Cemetery. Funeral directors: Larkin Mortuary.
