ELOY - Evia Jo Cornwell, 78, of Eloy died July 2, 2009 at Banner Garden Hospice House.
Visitation will be from 9 to 10 a.m. Thursday July 9 at Valley Chapel.
The funeral service will be there at 10 a.m. with Pastor Edward Wooten presiding. Burial will be at Eloy Memorial Park.
Ms. Cornwell was born June 28, 1931 in Bradford, Ark., a daughter of Lonnie Cornwell and Essie F. Wheeler. She was a member of First Assembly of God in Eloy and loved going to church and being with family and friends. She was a homemaker and never married.
She is survived by four brothers, Clinton and Harvie of Eloy, Therman of East Lake, Ohio, and Kenneth of Honolulu, Hawaii; and three sisters, Rosie Sutton of Casa Grande and Jettie McDaniel and Reba Deibert, both of Phoenix. She was preceded in death by one sister, Elizabeth Cornwell.
