Edith "Jeri" Sronce of Vancouver, WA passed away July 4, 2009 with her loving family at her bedside. Born May 21, 1927 in Keystone, Oklahoma, Jeri was a resident of Vancouver for 66 years. Her parents, her husband, Kenneth Sronce, and her only brother, Claude Pearce, preceded her in death. She was survived by her children, Karen and Lyle Nelson (Vancouver), Michele McCreary and Denny Abrams (Vancouver), Larry Sronce (Scappoose, OR), Susie and Gary Witt (Vancouver), and Melissa and Gary Baker (Vancouver). She has 6 grandchildren; Angie Smith, Kathy McEathron, Kenny McCreary, Keith McCreary, Jennifer Sronce, and Stephanie Friend. She has 7 great-grandchildren. She lived in Yacolt, WA for a while on Cedar Creek. She enjoyed working at the Thriftway in Amboy and a craft store in Vancouver. She loved the outdoors but especially off the beaten path. Memorial contributions may be made to Ray Hickey Hospice House. A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 10, 2009 at Evergreen Memorial Gardens, 1101 NE 112th Avenue, Vancouver, WA 98684, at 3:00 p.m. There will be a celebration of her life following the service.
She was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. We love you very much Mom and we will miss you terribly.
